good bye 2012

.5742 .5731 .6205 .6197 .0730 .4129 .7296 .3983 .7549 .7756 .0157 I usually prepare a full year summary on the blog, but this year I just don't feel like I have enough photos to fill it with and enough fun things to remember. So instead, here are a few random photos (that have already made it onto this blog before) from some of the highlights of the year. 2012 was the year I got to see my Chicago friends twice and fell back in love with the city, I spent a week in New York, moved out of my first apartment and put all my things in storage indefinitely, did bigger jobs (most of which I haven't even blogged!) and made more money off my photography but also took way less photos than previous years, attended and photographed a friend's wedding in the US and my brother's wedding in Spain, spent most of my summer not working, moved to Oslo and found myself a job and spent the final minutes of the year in the middle of a field in the Norwegian countryside surrounded by fireworks in the distance. Though the highlights of 2012 were indeed high, the lows were very low, so I won't miss this year. Thank you so much for your continued support and encouragement despite my ever decreasing presence here. Let's hope 2013 is a good one!

  5. I love your photo's. I sit in my apartment in rainy Vancouver, Canada and wish I could go to Scandinavia and see the places you photograph in person. I hope you will take all the good things you have learned in 2012 and leave the rest behind. May this year and all those to come be better than the last.
